There's no way in a just and fair world that Penn State is ahead of Tennessee.

I could make the case that we should be ahead of Miami and Georgia too.View attachment 500555

Miami plays nobody and Georgia's lost to a team we beat.

I would say BYU should be ahead of Miami too.

If you can't tell, I hate the entire ACC. Weak ass conference.

I hate the BIG TEN too. 😂

That's like being the nicest guy in prison.

Penn State almost lost to a crappy USC team as well. I bet Arkansas would boat race them.

Georgia lost to Alabama who we beat and they barely beat Kentucky.
Wondering what your reasoning will be when Tennessee loses to Georgia. ;)

OSU 42-10 right now with 11min in the 4th quarter against some bias SEC ranked team.

OSU does that against Illinois and Purdue!!

Thank god for this new system. Shows what the SEC really is.... Mediocre.

oh I know... go play some southern west eastern Louisiana tech state and tell me how great you are for beating them 64 - 14.

SEC Severely Elevated Conference! :)

Penn State's problem is James Franklin is a lousy game time coach. And they can't afford to fire him.
I'd have taken him at Maryland and still pissed he got away. He's the best possible outcome hire i could ever hope for at MD. we struggle to hire anything resembling a good coach.

Interesting. SEC teams have won the national championship 15 times since 2000. Two of the others, Texas and Oklahoma, are now in the SEC. The main reason there aren't more SEC teams in the playoffs is because they got beat up by their fellow SEC members. There's no way that Indiana or SMU are as good as Alabama, South Carolina, or Ole Miss. Highly doubtful that Boise State or Arizona State are either. The only thing that got exposed was the flaws in this 12 team format. If they really want a fair playoff then take the 16 highest ranked teams period. This year that would include all the teams that are in the playoffs plus those three SEC teams I mentioned and Miami. Ohio State has a great team and may ultimately be champs. Assuming they beat Oregon they'll have to likely get by Texas and meet Georgia in the final. If they do all of that they'll have earned it. Texas beat Michigan this year. Ohio State didn't. So wouldn't get too cocky just yet.

One thing OSU has is a good defense, Their offense primarily Howard could keep them from winning it all. They could run the table like they did in 2015 with a third string quarterback, they have that much talent.
They do have an awesome defense. Their biggest weakness is the inability to run the ball inside consistently. Howard is decent but not great. He doesn't do as well if he is being pressured. Give him time to throw and he has a wealth of great receivers to throw the ball to. I did get tired of him constantly being hyped as a great runner. He is a big guy but no explosiveness or elusiveness. His just needs to manage the offense and not make mistakes.
