Interesting. SEC teams have won the national championship 15 times since 2000. Two of the others, Texas and Oklahoma, are now in the SEC. The main reason there aren't more SEC teams in the playoffs is because they got beat up by their fellow SEC members.
let me show you how stupid this sounds.
The main reasons there isn't more (name a conference) teams in the playoffs is because they got beat up by their fellow (name and conference) teams!
Literally SEC bias thinking lol!
There's no way that Indiana or SMU are as good as Alabama, South Carolina, or Ole Miss. Highly doubtful that Boise State or Arizona State are either. The only thing that got exposed was the flaws in this 12 team format. If they really want a fair playoff then take the 16 highest ranked teams period. This year that would include all the teams that are in the playoffs plus those three SEC teams I mentioned and Miami. Ohio State has a great team and may ultimately be champs. Assuming they beat Oregon they'll have to likely get by Texas and meet Georgia in the final. If they do all of that they'll have earned it. Texas beat Michigan this year. Ohio State didn't. So wouldn't get too cocky just yet.
Lmao! SEC got exposed! No longer can they hide behind the top 8 rankings. They now have to prove themselves.
Again, your logic is based off the bias rankings!
"Oooh SEC teams beat up on SEC teams. There are no flaws in that because ESPN(who has a stake in SEC) tells me SEC is the greatest!.
This new system is flawed but it also shows the true measure of each division when they actually have to compete against them.
Now tell me how Alabama isn't really SEC because Saban is gone. Yet they "should have been in the playoffs" but lost to Michigan.
SEC (Severly Exaggerated Conference)
