It's more than crappy pay. I agree more with Bug...I know a hub in the box near my house that we have trouble staffing, with a 250/wk attendance bonus (effectively raising pay to $20 per hour) and free busing from 2 larger cities 20 miles away.

I'm guilty of it myself...my 20 year old healthy son is attending college without work, so long as he maintains his scholarship, because I don't want him to have to do that and work a night sort like I did.

Last year

Contrary to what Bug says, once you file the grievance, it becomes the property of the local.

Beyond.... wrong.

This past Tuesday

Once the grievance is filed, the Local Union owns it.
