3k for every year of service is chump change. It’s not about being entitled, it’s about what you already have which is really good health care and a 100k a year or more job. Why would you give it up for less than 100k for most of us. Unless your already retiring in less then a year.

I'm in 100 percent agreement. No doubt. But that image rubbed me the wrong way.
If 3k is the # they will solidify the IBT base and give the union even more strength.
That # is laughable

I mean.... I could make some calls.... but I doubt there is any solid information yet.

If that’s the case, like you said those guys could probably go anytime they wanted because they have both the years of service and the age they need unlike yourself and myself. I don’t think they’re gonna offer us anything he even remotely close to what it would take to get people in our situation to move. This is gonna be a nice little kick in the tush to those guys who could already leave and are just hanging around. Imo

Which really makes no sense to me, but I guess she really wants them to leave ASAP if they’re going through with this.

Funny story I have a couple guys who were getting ready to turn their paperwork in to be gone before the first of the year and now there hanging on to see what kind of free money they can get first lol.

Personally, I think Carol makes mistake after mistake. I have no idea how she has a job.
