Maybe if you have no spine.Work as directed—-customer was thrilled when I got there (3 min late) and couldn’t have cared less about a refund.
I don't get paid enough to commit fraud.

Contractual issues with the buyout notwithstanding, I'm sure the company already has a rough idea of how many drivers they want to eliminate, and they're going to get rid of them one way or another. If not enough people take the buyout, they will just start laying off from the bottom. At my old center,(been out 15 years) no one is taking it. Reading this thread and talking to some drivers I still know, I really don't get it. I know a feeder driver with 48 years of full time. He's not taking it. Several drivers who would have insurance and the time aren't taking it.
I left like everybody else, on a wing and a prayer but, you have to walk away from the money.
Say what you want, like everyone is making some great stand that if you turn it down, UPS is going to come back with a better offer. Don't count on it. This is gonna piss them off. Things are gonna get ugly and there is gonna be a lot of drivers which they would have left.
If you don't walk away and can with a little extra icing on top they're giving, they own you whether you admit or not.
Well done. The three questions you brought up were spot on.I absolutely do. I deal knucklehead like you every day.
Why are they giving me so many stops?
Because you’re getting done by 4:30
Why won’t they fix the Pre Load
Because you’re dumbasses in here loading your own truck every morning.
They don’t give me enough time to take my lunch
Because you skip it every day.
Etc., etc.
Why did I get fired for doing something dishonest like sheating EAMs in the building? Don’t they know I’m a great driver.
No, they don’t care because you’re a dishonest liar,
Shockingly I’ve never had any of these problems for very long. They get fixed pretty quickly when they know you won’t do these things.
If they know you’re a chump and will work for free for them. They will use you like a cheap whore. Can’t blame him that’s smart business.
Way worse now than 30 years ago.A culture of dishonesty at UPS has existed for many years
BOGThat was never my experience.
Cost of doing businessIf they know you’re a chump and will work for free for them. They will use you like a cheap whore.
Cost of doing business
Which is 100% true.Well, he did have a conference call where he said anyone who took this offer would be akin to a prostitute, so there’s that….
So then people that file grievances continually knowing they’re not getting resolved are prostitute?Which is 100% true.
If you take this offer you should give up your pension and be thrown out of the union.
Yes and no. Yes, they have a number in mind and, yes, they will up the ante if there are not enough takers on their initial offer.Contractual issues with the buyout notwithstanding, I'm sure the company already has a rough idea of how many drivers they want to eliminate, and they're going to get rid of them one way or another. If not enough people take the buyout, they will just start laying off from the bottom.
Why?Which is 100% true.
If you take this offer you should give up your pension and be thrown out of the union.
That's the last place they want to start. The bottom dwellers are the runners. They want old dead weight gone. The company would get back the blow money in 2 years with the runners working.Contractual issues with the buyout notwithstanding, I'm sure the company already has a rough idea of how many drivers they want to eliminate, and they're going to get rid of them one way or another. 30 year drivers used to be the goal. Not anymore. That's the last place they want to start. The bottom dwellers are the runners. They want old dead weight gone. The company would get back the blow money in 2 years with the runners working.
Well, he did have a conference call where he said anyone who took this offer would be akin to a prostitute, so there’s that….
The Buyout is an Extra Contract agreement and a violation of the contract. Why?
If you were already set to put in your papers why not put a few $$$ in your pocket on the way out?
