Tentative agreement

Tony Q is saying the same things as our Local leadership has been saying for 4 months. New part timers get a big bump. Hybrid drivers are necessary. Long term employees will get a very small wage increase.

It is like this was already agreed upon months ago, and they are just trying to tamper our expectations to sell us on the deal.

Hmm...

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge
Just like surepost.... they needed to have this to compete with smartpost FedEx and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND To what surepost should have ever been....this is the problem we have with ups...they will take these hybrid drivers and twist them into something we won’t even recognize in 5 years.....

You know it. For being in a union, we have a very weak union

I was thinking these hybrids would replace FT drivers. So in a 60 driver center, 45 would be FT and 15 would be Hybrid Second Class Part Time Ground drivers. But I guess they would be hired in addition to current FT drivers. I just hope there is language protecting FT routes, even so UPS will try everything to undermine it.
We need to adjust surepost volumes to protect and grow ft driving jobs... this is the real problem here....
