Tentative agreement

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
We get 3/4 of the surepost volume back??? What are we getting for this hybrid language???
And all of it that's to be delivered on the weekend.

Actually I think a good idea is to change surepost. Instead of the post office delivering it. Give it all back to us and make it a 2-3 day window service. This will allow us to spread volume more evenly over 7 days.

Our BA got chewed out last contract because he didn't push it hard enough
Shouldn't have to be pushed AT ALL. They shouldn't want to push it. They should want to get the members what they want. I promise you this 22.4 BS is not something people were clammoring for at proposal meetings.

They :censored2:ing work for us.

Good lord that's even worse than I imagined.

If nothing else I'm :censored2: at the IBT for not calling it what it is. They just agreed to a two tiered driver pay scale.

50%!!!!!!!!

I'm livid.

Look at the header.

It's a company proposal.

But, it kind of shows you.... how little UPS thinks of you.

Will it affect your vote?

For the last time, this contract for most people isn’t about money, it’s about working conditions, EXCESSIVE OVERTIME
They should raise the pay for ft to 37.50 and leave the pension and benefits alone and give the rest of the money to part timers for raises which I feel would be nice at $15 starting with a $5 yearly raise, .50 yearly catch up for current pts, give over time after 4 hrs instead of 5 and also leave the pension and benefits the same and I’d vote yes. But we all know that’ll never happen

They seem to forget that. Maybe after the last presidential election, it may have shaken them up. I could be wrong.

Unfortunately a lot of the pensions are under funded

Take a dollar now and give up $100 later. Just what the company wants.
Your right I’m just being honest but if the 22.4 works like TCD and let you flip to ft and keep pay rate without dropping through progression it wouldn’t bother me as much. That would mean all current ft jobs would have to be red circled

Hybrid drivers is an absolutely no. A lot of drivers depend on that OT. Does anyone really think that they won’t abuse the hybrids and take work off full rate drivers? I’m not someone that looks for OT but in feeders if I wanted I could work 13 a day. There’s always a load that has to get somewhere. That work will now go to hybrid drivers whenever possible. Hybrids has to be a reason to strike.
