You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
Not if 22.4 can flip ft and make tp rate it’s better than a 4 yr progression
lol and you think there's gonna be a ft driver job to flip to in 5 years 10 years 15 years? Lol wake up.

If we give on something this big when the company is swimming in money and packages and the economy is rolling what do you think is gonna happen next recession?

It's not just them. I can't tell you how many friends blew off ups as an option when we were 22/23 because they got a full time job making big bucks (yeah like $14 an hour) now in our mid 30's they've hopped from dead end job to dead end job for a dollar or two raise and I'm making $15 an hour more than them.

What is it? A brown box. Duh
FT wages $4.15 over 5 years, no split raises.
PT, no more skilled or unskilled, no progression, start $13, $14, $15, $15.50 each year of contract, seniority employee's get new start rate or GWI whichever is higher.
2000 feeder jobs created, loads off rail.
Double time over 60 hours. LTD increases.
PT health after 9 months. PT pension increases.
22.4 top rate 30.64 + GWI - $34.79 at end of contract,
current number FT jobs protected, no more than 25% of total FT PKG jobs in 22.4

This is some bs. We were set up for biggest contract ever. Record profits every quarter. Lik December every day. Us economy booming. If we can’t get a good contract now when we got em by the balls. We never will. Sad. Very sad.

Everyone sees the now money, not the Future money. $100 a week more now is better than $700 a week more a few uyear from now..

Yeah if this was real, this would be the easiest no vote ever. My area already starts PTers at $15 an hour, and I would actually get a pay cut for the first year or two because I'd lose my skilled pay.

Yep that's what's the scariest thing for me. I understand why the last two contracts haven't been the greatest. We weren't in great positions to negotiate.

But this one was different. This was an easy win for the teamsters. Even got a huge strike approval vote.

Hope ups at least used lube when they :censored2:ed Taylor's brains out.
