So do long time part timers get the $1.50 longevity raise and the $2.75 yearly raise starting next Wednesday?
After everything is ratified backpay checks will be issued.

Wall Street hates it when Main Street gets a decent deal.
Because the contract is more than just about your yearly raise. There’s pension and insurance and work rules agreements, and the overall look at this contract is pretty positive.Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm a little underwhelmed. At least with the up front raise. If the cost of damn near everything has gone up roughly 10%, why wouldn't the cost of my labor also go up 10%?
new drivers at top pay are making the same as 25 years driversHow it this good for existing part timers? Everyone 10 years and under is under $21 right now. We’re all gunna be at the same pay?
Is giving every current part timer $1.50 regardless if they were working for a year or 10 years supposed to be “rewarding long term part timers”I don't know who qualifies as a long time part timer?
Well, you can thank all the youngsters who say it’s hotter than it’s ever been in history lol. The negotiator’s were listening to their people even if I wasn’t in that group it is what it is.They can take their AC and shove it up their asses. I just had a bad feeling as soon as that came out that for all the bluster, the compensation was going to be standard.
That's a good raise and specially a really good race for the part-timersThey can take their AC and shove it up their asses. I just had a bad feeling as soon as that came out that for all the bluster, the compensation was going to be standard.
How senior 5 yr 10 yr 20 yr 35 yr?Plus an extra $1.50 for senior part timers I believe
I'm assuming $23 at contracts end.It says $21 starting pay and advance to $23. So idk if that means $23/rh once you get seniority?
Hit gym or croak earlyRetirement is boring. Most guys die after that.
Nope free $ is best. Every year you stay you lose free $.Dammit I should have stayed
Why do people think because our president and this world suck , ups is gonna make up for that ? This entire world is struggling . You think business is just gonna be like oh crap these groceries are expensive we will pay our workers twice as much now : nope , please exit la la landMaybe I'm missing something, but I'm a little underwhelmed. At least with the up front raise. If the cost of damn near everything has gone up roughly 10%, why wouldn't the cost of my labor also go up 10%?
So if Im making $18.50 an hour right now, and Ive been here 4 months, Im going to be making $21 an hour?
A lot of members, if not most didn't expect this amount of wage increase, perhaps especially with the other gains made. This is the biggest set of raises in decades. So even if it technically falls short of recent inflation, I really thought drivers would be screwed over to catch part timers up. Both ended up winning. They can take their AC and shove it up their asses. I just had a bad feeling as soon as that came out that for all the bluster, the compensation was going to be standard.
