I want to believe everything I read on here. Are you saying you are getting $300,000 as settlement for this CA lawsuit? My math doesn't add. How can that be if the Net Settlement Fund = 2.3m, (4.m after lawyer's fees, etc), has to be divided between approximately 7,400 couriers???

In a class action suit the plaintiffs usually get only a moderate settlement of $10-$15,000. Mr. Garvey probably could have received a lot more money if he had pursued this as an individual. That means he is owed an extra dose of gratitude.

I assume since this was a payroll issue, they probably pre-taxed the payout. Maybe the payout is really 500 or 600 dollars.

They did pre-tax it...the payout was over 500 dollars....
