If they commit treason which is attributable to those who beat cops at the Capitol to try to overturn the election then they should be tried in a court of law. Whatever happens to them afterwards is not my business, but death is certainly appropriate punishment for treason.

Do you really invoke the justice system though? Because there's no way under our justice system that the January 6 rioters who beat up cops would ever be convicted of treason.
