Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect[a] and trembling, in singleness of heart, as you obey Christ, 6 not with a slavery performed merely for looks, to please people, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the soul. 7 Render service with enthusiasm, as for the Lord and not for humans, 8 knowing that whatever good we do, we will receive the same again from the Lord, whether we are enslaved or free.

9 And, masters,[b] do the same to them. Stop threatening them, for you know that both of you have the same Lord[c] in heaven, and with him there is no partiality.

I don’t think that is saying “slavery is wrong and don’t participate in it because it’s wrong” that is saying “slaves, respect your masters, and masters, be nice to your slaves”

Christianity was revolutionary because no religion claimed the bolded part before

It didn't outright condemn slavery, but it certainly started its decline by its nature

Jesus was clear he came to free the captive.

You're just lacking in your understanding of biblical times slavery. You're falsely equating it to chattel slavery of modern times.

People sold themselves into slavery to avoid starvation. Commanding masters to treat them as equals was essentially rejecting what you're thinking of as slavery.

Paul even went so far as to command Christians to purchase their freedom if possible. Christians were radically against bondage and if they weren't the world would be a much darker place.

Rant on…

Baseball desperately needs to make the whole league competitive, these giant market teams that can just buy players and constantly go deep in the playoffs is killing the sport.
It’s honestly one of the reasons football is so much more entertaining because of the parody year to year. Rant off…
I mean, yeah, but the NFL method is kind of like a socialistic enterprise.

One thing about MLB is sometimes you get to witness a mid-market team go deep into the postseason. An underdog story

Give me some teacher or administrator names. I haven't even looked myself because I've never heard a name dropped. Who's been to court? Who's been cornered by a parent in a classroom?

All this stuff is in your imagination. Meanwhile, your local church has pervs prowling around the kids! lol
