The forgotten member of a duo.

A thought came to me, about forgotten parts of a duo. For example, Oates from Hall and Oates. I always thought that Oates, was just a guy playing guitar in the background of their videos.

Another one is Sears and Roebuck. It's much easier to say I'am going to Sears, than I'am going to Sears and Roebuck.
