I’m willing to throw away everything I’ve worked for 25 years of free healthcare free pension and good wages just to see all you people that voted no lose your job

Good. Your “free pension” will be the first thing I and fellow younger folks make sure is last priority/isn’t protected in future contracts if you’ll be supporting giveaway contracts during your last few working years at UPS and leaving a steaming pile of contractual :censored2: behind you.

If true - sorry about your wife but you sir are out of line. You don’t know what I know about operations.

I do know our problems won’t be fixed by more people. It will be fixed by technology. That’s what should scare The IBT
You hear that Frigid...? He told you. You don’t know operations the way he does. Take that

What do you do, dust this account off during contract years?
Been a member since 2013 and only time you post is during contract years...…..That is a classic Russian troll move. Was reading a research paper about Russian trolls and that is one of the main indicators

I'm in IE, my job is to implement that technology. It's way behind the 8 ball. Half of it is useless and that is if it works at all. Not to mention, technology isn't eliminating Teamster jobs, it's just deskilling them and boosting our process rate.

You clearly know nothing about operations. It's evident in your posts. Any sup who has spent any time in operations knows why the union members are angry, and why it failed. I don't even deal with union members any more and I understand why it didn't pass. Maybe trolling them isn't the way you go about it?

You must not be very deep into BD if you don't think there are Account Execs embedded with each distribution center. Or are you just a specialist pushing reports?

That rep had more along the lines of 10,000 packages. Which is still diddly compared to most places. 2,000 is hardly impressive. I can't believe you even make any commission off that little volume.

One account. 2000 packages per day. 1500 of them early AM. Converted from the competition. Must have gotten lucky.

The last contract that approached 50 % voter participation was the "97" one, after a two week strike that in itself should explains volumes. Everybody including leadership knew that it was next to impossible to get a over 50 percent voting percentage.

Apathy rules..Our members have just given up on the process and the idea that a Union should be working for all their members, not cut and run..People without hope are easily led.

We just made history we just voted down a UPS National contract, the process is still in play..A lot of Supplements went down also..So no "retro checks" for a long long while..take a lesson from the UPS Mechanics union who voted down their contract by over 60 % and the prospect of over 20,000 back pay..They get the "Big Picture"..

Don’t think much will change? I’m not sure this ever gets passed with the two tier language 22.4’s in the contract. Needs to eliminated totally.
maybe you're right

Like I said, I dont know whats going to happen.

Where I'm at, 22.4 wouldnt be bad as long as it was combo. Meaning you HAD to perform 3 hours inside.

I was a TCD (part time, 85% of driver pay) for 7 years. I got abused. IT SUCKED. I would rather those been FT pension years. So to me 22.4 is an improvement.

I’d love to know where this guy lives.....there’s a reason NorCal voted everything down. Open your eyes buddy, I voted no cause the contract you love isn’t the Bees Knees to me or the rest of us here. Btw.....have just as many years in and I’m more than willing to fight. Guess we wouldn’t of been able to count on you to fight the Red Coats either.
