I'm in IE, my job is to implement that technology.
And I thought new IE guys are only in charge of maintaining the office ball pit!
I'm in IE, my job is to implement that technology.
Honestly, that isn't even the part of my job that I hate. I hate my hours being on the hub side, but outside of that any job is what you make of it. I enjoy the rest of it.I have plenty of friends that are either supervision or management. I do know what it is like You always have someone to answer to and told what to do , even if you know it can’t be accomplished you better damn well try . They actually hate thier job also . It’s all about numbers and increasing them year to year by any means necessary even when its out of reach
Thanks dude. But enough with the friendship-y crap. It's giving me the heeby-geebiesDamm brother. I really didn't know that.
I'm truly sorry my friend
I'm in IE, my job is to implement that technology. It's way behind the 8 ball. Half of it is useless and that is if it works at all. Not to mention, technology isn't eliminating Teamster jobs, it's just deskilling them and boosting our process rate.
You clearly know nothing about operations. It's evident in your posts. Any sup who has spent any time in operations knows why the union members are angry, and why it failed. I don't even deal with union members any more and I understand why it didn't pass. Maybe trolling them isn't the way you go about it?
Yikes ....slowlyyyyyyy walking out the back dooorThanks dude. But enough with the friendship-y crap. It's giving me the heeby-geebies
Yeah he watched a module on UPSers all about operations management and I was just a local sort, preload, then dispatch sup. Oh and an On Road. You hear that Frigid...? He told you. You don’t know operations the way he does. Take that
I will tell you to go shove it sideways some other time. You can keep talking smack on my union ass. But I will say a prayer for you and your wife ..like it or not. Thanks dude. But enough with the friendship-y crap. It's giving me the heeby-geebies
They have the same firmware installedThanks for the heads up, but you’re probably towing the same sales line and message the other guy is.
@upssalesguy
Why does our service suck?
Thanks dude. But enough with the friendship-y crap. It's giving me the heeby-geebies

You know what I heard sales was doing today? Arguing on brown cafe, SeriouslyYou should be standing on a table yelling this then.
You know what I heard IE was doing today? Trying to come up with an acronym for the name of a new automated hub. Seriously.
ORIONHave you seen our buildings versus the competition?
The rail?
The change in product mix?
Not being set up for e-commerce profitability?
True to that. My best friend is actually my manager. We both started same time. He went one way I went other. But we still good friends. So I know a lot what it’s like on management sideHonestly, that isn't even the part of my job that I hate. I hate my hours being on the hub side, but outside of that any job is what you make of it. I enjoy the rest of it.
The problem is too many people look at it as us vs them. That's why the dumb asses at the top are scratching their heads right now as to why this didn't pass.
If you're going to try and BS at least make it believable. One account. 2000 packages per day. 1500 of them early AM. Converted from the competition. Must have gotten lucky.
WrongIf they go back to the table, they'll only make more concessions and give backs. Might as well have this offer rammed through.
