Damn ... just damn!
Another friend lost to drugs.
She was a loving and caring person ... she helped so many but couldn't help herself!
Courtney ... 29 years wise.

28-29 years old seems to be tough years to live through. I know way to many who have left us at the age. The next step is your 50's. If you can make it through your 50's your chances of making it through your 60's are great. I have NO facts to back this up. Its just from my personal observations. Sorry about your friend.

The late 20's and 30's ... I've lost 6 friends to heroin/fentanyl in the last couple years.
That :censored2: ain't no recreational drug!
I've never touched that stuff and I will not unless I want to kill myself!

Sorry for the loss of your friend, Chappy.
Thanks!
It's not just her death.
It's the cumulative effect of all the deaths of addicts I've known.
It's all too common with addicts who feel so bad ... really they loathe themselves.
The drugs are just a symptom of this underlying hate for themselves.
You never know if it's a suicide or an accidental overdose.
I don't deplore them ... there is just an emptiness in the hope ... and my soul ... it hurts!

SAD!
David Crosby was his biological father ... David struggled mightily with addiction for years!

Melissa was not Beckett's biological mother, her wife, Julie Cypher was Beckett’s biological mother.

This one really hit me hard. I just googled him two weeks ago because I saw a Facebook video of Melissa and daughter singing a duet. Then I thought, "hey I think she has a son too" Anyway, RIP young man. Say hello to More from al of us

View attachment 295356 We should of all listened to Nancy
She was ignorant but people did not understand at that time.
Just say no today is ignoring the real problem ... we know better today!

A lot of cases start with Drs giving out pain killers for everything , then you get hooked , dr won’t refill , then you buy off the streets
Exactly ... my wife included except she doesn't buy off the street.
Doctor continues to prescribe but I dispense and keep them locked in a safe!
Luckily I don't care for them and scared s:censored2:tless of them ... with good reason.
