Tony Dow, 'Leave It to Beaver' star, dead at 77, son confirms: 'He is in a better place'

Tony Dow died Wednesday morning, his son Christopher confirmed to Fox News Digital. The news was announced on Facebook by Dow's manager and son.

Leave It To Beaver was the big show at our house growing up. After it went off the air you couldnt find anywhere for decades until they started the reruns.
Then it was a real treat to watch them all over again.

Those were the great days of TV. Andy Griffith , Make Room For Daddy, My Three Sons, Father Knows Best, and a couple dozen others.

You've heard the saying that some player couldn't lace up another's shoes or wear their jock, basketball wise they were Russell's shoes and jock.

The man and player, the NBA Legend was that guy, Bill Russell.
That can't be argued.



Full disclosure, I was a Chamberlain and 76'ers guy. We all knew the truth though.

I'd say especially If you liked the New York and San Francisco Giants as a kid.
