I played with Paul Peek in the 1990's and whenever JB came to town he'd get us backstage.We'd listen to Soundcheck which was like having your own private concert and we'd hang out before and after the show. He was VERY nice, and he loved hearing Paul's stories about being on tour with Gene Vincent and the Blue Caps.
