Was an all around sad story how that all went down , I was just 3 when that happened , but knew the legend of Tony C and Hamilton, I saw Tony C play at Fenway when I was 11 in 75 when he made a comeback and was lucky to see him homer !
I’m sure that must of ate at Hamilton the rest of his life !

Glad you got to see him play, at the time he was the youngest to reach 100 homers, not sure if that still stands. He was an amazing young talent, very unfortunate incident. I'd have to agree with what you say about how it most likely affected Hamilton. It's close to Play Ball time for real, it keeps me young. A wonderful pastime, baseball is.

Yah it was a thrill to see Tony C play ,even tho he was a shadow of himself , My buddies sister was his speech therapist after his stroke
