Russian bombs continued to rain down on Ukrainian cities, Ukrainian official said, despite talk of compromise from both Moscow and Kyiv in peace talks after three weeks of war.
All Putin wants is for its very large neighbor not to be a US puppet state with bioweapons labs and missiles pointed at Moscow.

We have traditionally taken years of unjust bombardment, cutting off water, etc. from people groups based on their language and political identification as a reason to stop the person from doing that.

The war is also allowing Russia to see what works and what doesn't work. They have a lot of work ahead before they will want to take on a combined NATO Army. And with all of the economic sanctions it will be years before they will be able to modernize their forces. Should be a lesson for China also.

Outside of our media, they’re a lot less isolated. This is all a pretense for what is coming. You’re going to see war very soon, not just in Ukraine. These next elections here are going to produce some unfortunate outcomes, especially as the right increasingly decides that there is no political solution as the blue cities just always find *enough* votes to ensure no red wave.
