THE TRUMP 2024 THREAD

'The question about Vance’s appeal to blue-collar voters in the Rust Belt states is not theoretical. He was on the ballot in Ohio in 2022 and it went poorly. Despite Democratic successes elsewhere, 2022 was a great year for Ohio Republicans — except JD Vance. He won by 6 points, but dramatically underperformed every statewide Republican. Governor Mike DeWine won by 25, the State Treasurer won by 17, and the Attorney General won by 21. Vance didn’t perform worse than other Republicans on the ballot. He simply failed in the exact areas where Trump wants to send him..."

The lowest polling incumbent President and Vice President ever made Trump’s not the best VP pick possible.

Trump could have picked a bucket as his VP and Joe and Kamala still wouldn’t beat him in November.

Sure, but it doesn't matter whether JD Vance pulls in additional votes for Trump or not. Democrats can talk about how bad JD Vance is all they want but they're the ones who made his pick as VP possible in the first place.

I still believe the best ticket would be Michelle Obama and Kamala Harris versus Trump and Vance. Two black women against two white men. Then let the circus begin. Which ticket would you vote for?
