Male participation in female sports has likely increased over the last 4 years. Perhaps there's a difference in where public awareness and opinion on the issue was during Trump's first term and right now.

"More Americans than before oppose transgender athletes competing in sports that align with their gender identity and say transitioning genders is “morally wrong,” according to a report from Gallup released Monday.
The survey — conducted from May 1 to May 24 via telephone interviews with roughly 1,000 adults living in the U.S. — found that 69% of people say that transgender athletes should only be allowed to compete on sports teams that correspond with the sex they were assigned at birth, compared with 62% in 2021. It also shows that a slightly higher share of Americans, 55%, consider “changing one’s gender” to be more “morally wrong” than in 2021, when it was 51%."

A Gallup poll released on Monday found that the number of Democrats who say transgender athletes should be allowed to play on sports teams that match their gender identity fell from 55 percent in 2021 to 47 percent this year. At the same time, the number of Democrats who say transgender athletes should only participate on teams that match their birth gender has gone up from 41 to 48 percent in the same time period."

16 year old girls are now finding the courage to step up and be the adult in the room in the fight against this particular component of leftist insanity. People have had enough of it.

People like @Doublestandards don’t care if it hurts women and girls. They’ll just tell you it’s not a problem that affects you.. as a society, we definitely should be worried about the mistreatment of young ladies and taking their opportunities, the fact that he doesn’t care about that proves he doesn’t have a young lady as a daughter.. thankfully, these brave young ladies are beginning to stand up for themselves. Even while some people tell them to stop talking.
Trump's big popular vote win turned @rickyb into a Christian who's now reasonable on illegal immigration and it's good to see that it's already helping girls and women too.

I'm wondering at what point did Democrats decide this was an issue they wanted to make mainstream? Was this being pushed in universities? The big issue was gay marriage and when that got approved then suddenly they're talking about pronouns and boys using girls restrooms.

I'd still be a straight ticket Democratic voter if the party hadn't gone insane. My instinct is to try and help the party retake the plane from the leftist hijackers. Might not be possible at this point. I'll vote for the Republican presidential candidate again in 2028 if the Democrats still don't want sanity and the leftists still need to be kept in check.
The problem for you might be how do you trust them now that the cat is out of the bag about the social engineering they want to push on everyone? I'm hoping the Republicans will come through with their reforms but if it turns into just helping the rich get richer while not bringing prices down or securing the border then the time may finally come for a centrist third party that rejects extremists on both sides.
