THE TRUMP 2024 THREAD

The problem for you might be how do you trust them now that the cat is out of the bag about the social engineering they want to push on everyone? I'm hoping the Republicans will come through with their reforms but if it turns into just helping the rich get richer while not bringing prices down or securing the border then the time may finally come for a centrist third party that rejects extremists on both sides.
Republicans either capitalize or Americans turn elsewhere. They won’t have any choice.

I'd still be a straight ticket Democratic voter if the party hadn't gone insane. My instinct is to try and help the party retake the plane from the leftist hijackers. Might not be possible at this point. I'll vote for the Republican presidential candidate again in 2028 if the Democrats still don't want sanity and the leftists still need to be kept in check.

There would have to be open rejection of leftist insanity and some sort of outline of how they plan to do better as proof that they mean it. All most people want is competence and reasonableness. Sounds like a high bar for the Democrats to clear after the last 4 years but it really shouldn't be.

That's why I brought up the trust issue. Kamala Harris has a clear record of supporting the far Left. Suddenly she was distancing herself from that support and claiming Trump ideas as her own. Do you take a chance on future candidates who do the same? If the party is full of woke extremists how do you know what you're getting? Biden was supposed to be a centrist. He isn't. I'm prepared to give up on the Republicans if they don't come through. But that means for me sitting out future elections because we don't have a viable third party.

Right on the money.

So you’re going to vote for a party that wants to dismantle unions because of trans kids playing sports?

Isnt that a local school board decision, or even state. What is Trump going to do about that

1.8% of kids are trans, and 10% of those 1.8% play sports. It’s such a crazy small number, to change all your views on unions and healthcare and economy over is just ridiculous.

But again, that’s why Elon spent $46 billion to get Twitter. Propaganda is very valuable

No, Democrats chose to make it a federal issue.

Yes, Elon Musk was opposed to the radical left wing propaganda machine that you people supported. Now there is more free speech. Sorry you don't like that.

By your #'s, since there are over 73,600,000 children under 18 as of 2023,'then there's over 1.8 million trans children. And if 10% of them participate in sports then almost 200,000 do. Not a miniscule number. And most of them will be boys saying they're girls. You are trying to explain away why there should be trans girls in girls locker rooms. Young biological females have a right to privacy and to feel secure too. They shouldn't be forced into anything they feel uncomfortable with in order to make a biological male feel like he's a real girl. If you want to accommodate these kids in their own restroom and locker room fine. But no forced mixing.

You’re accounting for all children under 18, including kids not even old enough to be in school. After that, the vast majority of the remaining kids aren’t even in puberty yet and this doesn’t factor for them

The number is miniscule, and is not worthy to vote for the party that is trying to dismantle unions

Doesn’t seem like unions have done much growing under Democrat administrations either. Matter fact, we’ve managed to shrink to almost nonexistent levels in the private sector.

Are you really unaware of how the federal government uses our own tax dollars against us? It’s the carrot on the stick either you do what we tell you or do not get the federal funds. That includes transgender nonsense. So to answer your question yes it would be great if state and school boards could do it, but they can’t do it when the federal government is holding money over their head. Knowing they absolutely need the money. I realize you don’t have kids and know these things, but maybe pay attention a little more. And to answer your question that you ask over and over again is it really that big deal? Yes, it is. These are our kids. There is no bigger deal than our kids.

Do you know something that Sean O’Brien doesn’t?

"Thank you @realDonaldTrump for putting American workers first by nominating Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer for US Labor Secretary. Nearly a year ago, you joined us for a @Teamstersroundtable and pledged to listen to workers and find common ground to protect and respect labor in America. You put words into action. Now let’s grow wages and improve working conditions nationwide.

Congratulations to @LChavezDeRemer on your nomination! North America’s strongest union is ready to work with you every step of the way to expand good union jobs and rebuild our nation’s middle class. Let’s get to work! #TeamsterStrong"

What are republicans doing for unions?

You said yourself how important the pro act is for unions, and the majority of republicans are not supporting it

Teamsters have said the right to work states goals are to bankrupt unions. Which states have right to work?…

One party is actively trying to get rid of unions, yet you seem to only hold democrats accountable

How many dozens and dozens of democrat politicians publicly supported us when we were about to go on strike? Very very few, if any, republicans did the same

But most importantly, what do you think democrats should be doing more for unions that they aren’t now?

Except you’re forgetting to factor in the age of puberty, where this becomes an issue, so the number is still much much smaller.

You’re accounting for all children under 18, including kids not even old enough to be in school, then the vast majority of the remaining kids aren’t even in puberty yet and this doesn’t factor for them

You said 1.8% of the country's children are trans, and 10% of that number plays sports. That would mean most of that 10% are junior high age or older if they are playing organized sports or are in Phys.Ed. locker rooms in school. Not much of an issue with Little League baseball or little girls soccer right? Don't know about you but most kids by 7th grade have gone through or will soon go through puberty. So probably, based on your percentages, there are at least 150,000 trans athlete children.

Big Tech was on the Republicans' side? Big Tech is Google, Apple, Microsoft among others. They back Democrats. X and Facebook are social media. Facebook is squarely Democratic and X users are still slightly more Democrats than Republicans. Billionaires? George Soros and Bill Gates certainly don't support Republicans. Neither does Mark Cuban. The truth is the Republicans are in power now primarily because of one billionaire, Donald Trump.
amazing how bad things got with the current administration that big tech had to join forces with Hitler :)

What good will that do when republicans are actively working to dismantle unions? You’re falling for their theater. Wake up, man
