THE TRUMP 2024 THREAD

…yeah, and now there’s even more of those people before him who also don’t support it

Republicans don’t care about unions or their workers

Not a single Republican voted to save the teamsters pension. Not one. The one tie breaking vote came down to Kamala Harris. Republicans have no problems bailing out private businesses, but they made it very clear they don’t care about us
Oh really do you know how they vote? Yeah, I don’t think you do.

Neither really cares about unions or their workers more than what the workers and unions can give them in money and votes. The Democrat party has done a great job of keeping the Teamsters on a very short leash..

It’s not shocking. The Republicans did not vote for that bill because there was a lot of other things stuffed in it and it was a partisan bill. And they said it would be inflationary and it appears they were right.
I am grateful that the Democrats passed it. But it is important to remember it was a Democrat president that deregulated the trucking industry that caused the central states to be in debt many years later., so essentially they were only fixing the emergency they created.

Yeah? Like what?

the money was already there at that point in a fund. Republicans chose to not use it to bailout workers pensions

How many republicans voted on that bill?

Pretty funny though how so often you hear on here how the democrat party has changed and not like they used to be, but back when a democrat president deregulated an industry, something republicans would love today, you use to defund for republicans today not bailing out workers pensions, yet they have no problem bailing out private businesses

Such a stupid disingenuous narrative.
They shoved that bailout into a multi trillion dollar COVID stimulus bill. You're not this naive.

I’m watching the NBC election night coverage right now. It’s awesome.🤣

I could watch it over and over. As an extra mood booster I throw in a little 2016 meltdown and it just starts the day off with a smile.
Just think if it wasn’t for that “most secure election in history” we would be saying goodby to Trump in 56 days but because of that we can look forward to a Trump that we would not have had if he would not of went through the last 4 years. The last 4 years showed him who was for and who was against him. It showed him what the government we have now is capable of doing and why it has to be completely overhauled. Thank God for that “most secure election” or none of that would have been learned and they would have just stonewalled him the last 4 years. Everything the Dems did turned out in his favor. It is 100% their doings that he won.
I love your daily countdown to inauguration day. It’s like a kid counting down to Christmas.

you should trust him but not be afraid to ask questions
Thankfully, I’ve had the opportunity to ask him many questions and as a general rule he’s been more available than any General President Teamsters have had since I’ve been a Teamster.

He’s definitely not afraid to take questions or to talk to you. Even if you don’t like the answer.

Like I said, I can appreciate Sean taking a risk. He’s taking a lot of arrows and putting his balls on the line. He has a network of politicians who have agreed to support the pro act. Many of them, Republicans. Let’s hope they don’t stab him in the back.
he's not a leader if he's not stirring up the pot

The Republicans have a chance to harness and maintain a potentially massive working class party realignment. Might be the only one they get if the Democrats realize at some point that being for insane things and smelling their own farts won’t win them more votes in national elections.
the MAGA movement is closer to the 70's democrat in comparison than the traditional republican slate with some exceptions.

On what are you basing the 40 number? If there was only one murderer running loose would you just shrug your shoulders? By your own percentages there should be more than 40.
he wants you to believe there are not enough of these to worry about. Meanwhile there is an all out left wing movement to create a whole lot more of these transies starting with our kids.

Our government was putting these cross dressers out front and center and Nancy Pelosi was demanding Representatives use the right pronouns. @Doublestandards do you think that's all by chance or is the Democratic Party trying to change our culture?

I think that since the time of the Bible there have been gay and trans people, and I think that shows that this is nothing new and it’s a ridiculous thing for us to worry about and spend time on

I don’t know about you, but I’m comfortable in my sexuality and identity, and I would never wear a dress when I was a kid or want to chop off my dick, even if I was taught about trans people in school

You understand that we do have to worry about and spend time on it because forcing the idea that boys can be girls and men can be women on society actually affects people in negative ways, don't you?
