Before Milei Argentina was paradise for Americans and Europeans. If you had Dollars, Euros, or Pounds you could get at times almost triple the money at exchange houses because Argentineans wanted hard currency because their own money was deteriorating so fast. I spent 3 months there and was eating what would've been $35-$50 meals in the States for the equivalent of $8-$12 USD. Milei has greatly slowed the inflation rate and now instead of being 80-90% cheaper than the States it's now about 45% cheaper. That's good news for Argentineans because their currency was getting so bad that no one outside their country except next door.Paraguay was accepting their Peso.
If we're going to get the U.S. out of the mess it's in some hard choices have to be made. If not the whole system collapses.
