THE TRUMP 2024 THREAD

nowhere special

The company provided the truck that sparked one of the most viral moments during the 2024 campaign: when a safety vest-wearing Trump climbed into the cabin for a spin around a Green Bay, Wisc. airport tarmac.

How much should we be willing to pay for Greenland?

January 13, 2025

"President-elect Donald Trump's House GOP allies are clearing the runway for him to make good on his vow to acquire Greenland.

Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., is leading a bill to authorize Trump to enter negotiations with Denmark over purchasing Greenland, a territory located in North America but with longstanding cultural and geopolitical ties to Europe.

The bill is titled the "Make Greenland Great Again Act," according to a copy of its text obtained by Fox News Digital."

Might not have to pay too much. They may vote to secede from Denmark then negotiate to become our territory. If we have to pay for it then most likely it would be pretty expensive considering the natural resources it's supposed to have.

According to the report, prosecutors worried that Trump's actions did not amount to an insurrection because he was already in power -- rather than challenging a sitting government -- when the riot took place. Smith also noted that his office did not obtain "direct evidence" of Trump's "intent to cause the full scope of the violence that occurred on January 6.

He was so certain of Trump's guilt that he resigned and ran away.

The Dems were all giddy thinking the flag was going to be half mast Jan 20th but as we have seen so many times the Trump boomerang effect happens and that giddy turns to tears.

I really never even thought about it until trump mentioned it, and I’d bet the majority of people wouldnt either. No doubt some in the media and on social media would get some kicks out of the picture of him being sworn in with the flag half mast, and spin it to get clicks as some deep picture him being sworn in with half mast, so I can understand where he’s coming from

It seems a little narcissistic and ego driven to go against customs and raise a flag earlier than usual though, especially for a fellow president, because you think it will make you look bad. But again, I do see his point and I didn’t think of it until he said it, but people would definitely spin the picture for their own motive, but I think he should have been the bigger man. Not mention it’s just setting bad precedent, I’m not sure people on the right would like the flag not being half mast if it was for Trump

I didn’t even know it was a thing. I honestly don’t see a lot of flags everyday and probably don’t pay attention. 🤷‍♂️
