If they got what they wanted why are they still fighting?
Who? Russia? Because Ukraine is still fighting lol what are you talking about? Ukraine still thinks they can get those territories back. Or at least Zielinski does. Putin said he’s not going to negotiate with Zelinski Trump will be the in between. We shall see.

True, why not just hold the line in the Donbas? They were driven out of the rest of Ukraine except Crimea which they had taken before the war. Russia could have been saying to the international community that they had accomplished their goal of protecting ethnic Russians in the Donbas and are willing to negotiate. When have they said that? If Russia is so dominate then why did they bring in North Korean troops? Russia has suffered over half a million casualties and are on their way to a million if it lasts much longer. Think about how long we were in Vietnam and lost a comparatively low 50k troops. The Ukrainian War is a meat grinder.

Thought they had a deal in '22 per DIDO?

I believe it was on the table. I do not know if it was a serious deal. Is that the one Boris Johnson Poopooed?
That was the rumor. DIDO got it from the guy who thought Hillary Clinton was running a pedophile ring over a pizza parlor in Philadelphia. Can anyone cite Putin publicly complaining that he tried to negotiate peace with Ukraine in '22?

Here’s a pretty interesting breakdown article of what happened. You can surmise what you want. There certainly seemed to be some sort of deal in the works. I do not know how serious either side was.

Great article. Looks to me they were at a stalemate in negotiations before Boris Johnson got involved. Ukraine didn't want to cede land, among other things, and Russia wanted to keep Crimea and the Donbas, among other things. There was no deal on the table as DIDO said.

Of course they are. They’re going to hit back twice as hard when Ukraine continues to launch offensive. Putin doesn’t like to be shown up. Megalomaniacs are like that. This is just a tit for tat show waiting for someone to come in and give each side a reason to stop.

Great article.... There was no deal on the table as DIDO said.
Try reading it.
The article says there was a deal on the table.
Then Joe Biden and Boris Johnson offered Zelensky 1.43 BILLION dollars to reject peace.

You have been fooled into supporting a proxy war....

The talks of March 29 ended in the expectation that the draft agreement would be initialed by the principals, laying the foundations for a compromise peace.

An even bigger obstacle to further talks may have been the arrival in Kyiv on April 6 of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. “Johnson brought two simple messages to Kyiv. The first is that Putin is a war criminal; he should be pressured, not negotiated with. And the second is that even if Ukraine is ready to sign some agreements on guarantees with Putin, they [the NATO powers] are not.” Three days after Johnson returned home Putin announced publicly that talks with Ukraine “had reached a dead end.” For his part, Johnson promised Zelensky $130 million of military equipment and $500 million kin financial aid, while President Biden announced a $800 million military package to Ukraine.

Ukraine launching offensive? Putin started this war, has illegally annexed land that they still haven’t given back and now have North Korea helping them. I don’t see how you can call any actions from Ukraine on the offense

I’ll watch the video you linked later when I have more time though, thank you
