THE TRUMP 2024 THREAD

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
Bottom line? MAGA and this White House wants a dictatorship. Chief Justice Roberts wants to matter so he's doing his job to make it clear that Article 2 has to listen to Article 3.

Say it with me now, guys:

CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
CO-EQUAL BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT
The very definition of insanity.

The very definition of insanity.

“The popular myth, retold almost daily by members of Congress, that the Constitution established three separate, but equal branches, of government has no basis in fact. The true intent of the Framers was for the Congress to be supreme because it is the nature of representative government that the most representative branch should be most powerful.”

You can say it as many times as you want, but it’s just not actually true. They all have a role, but they are not equal. Never have been.
The Constitution did not place the Executive, Legislative, Judiciary in some sort of hierarchy that would denote some authority of one over the other. Therefore they are separate but equal.

Each has different roles. And many roles impact or are shared with each other. But I don’t think you can simply focus on one specific power and say it supersedes all others.

I can assure you that my views on homosexuality and gay rights aren't in the same universe as Ben Shapiro, etc.
But you’ve aligned yourself and voted with them, disregarding everyone of your other views, just because you agree with them on that one issue

I didn't disregard all of my other views. The Democrats ran far to the left and completely ceded the moderate/populist/common sense ground to the Republicans. Trump won all of the swing states and the popular vote for very good reason.

The same people who cried about statues of confederate losers being taken down do this with no problem

The executive branch has exclusive authority over its branch. Prove me wrong

Clearly, the legislature is the most powerful branch. It’s the only one that can remove a president and someone and the judiciary. Neither the executive branch nor the judiciary can do that.

The executive branch has exclusive powers. Get used to it.

El Correcto

god is dead
Nothing wrong with trying to impeach if they feel it’s deserved if it’s not, he won’t be it’s simple as that. Trump won’t have the final say.
The republicans will not be able to impeach him.

It requires a super majority.
It’s just a terrible look for republicans to go after this guy so hard.

Trump would cry witch hunt if he was the judge.
