I know a few guys that work in the Carlisle center in package and from what I hear it’s a pretty rough place to work at unless you love overtime or are on FMLA

That's a shame for them. lol. Once I went to feeders I left all that behind me. Plus I sure as hell am not driving all the way to that building. I'd like to think I know a few of those guys yet since when I was still in package I worked out fo the West Center at HARPA which handled Carlisle before they had their own hub. My last route was actually down town Carlisle. But a lot has changed in those 7 years since I left and there are so many new faces.

I don’t get the thought process. Those packages got scanned when they entered the building. They get scanned on the primary when they come down the belt. They get scanned in the car. I’ll admit the scrutiny has relaxed along with the service over the last couple years but I used to be on a heavy bulk route and would occasionally miss scans. I’d be in the office within 48 hours being asked why there’s boxes without a delivery scan but they never came back to the building. If I find a promo coupon or a loose screw on the floor in the back I turn it in at the end of the day. Only company property I leave work with are pens and info notices. The balls on this dude and his fancy car.
With new CIR function it would be easy to target companies with lax security and dock employees that are asleep at the job.
CIR on packages you plan on stealing, misdirect and blame the company if they call in.

Then let heat die down after concerns called in and you find your next mark. Would be easy as a cover driver.

I still think you would end up like this guy getting busted eventually, but I wouldn’t be surprised if someone’s else job is also on the line for having “received” those packages.

Heard about this last week. It's out of our Carlisle, PA building. Don't know the driver so I'd say he's been there less than 8 years scein I went to feeders. But he doesn't work there anymore, that's for sure.
Less than 8 years at brown and the guy is 60 years old??? Cool, loose a 120k job for 1,200 bucks of stolen crap...

Guy is 60...he really didn't gaf. You see the back of that truck??? He was probably glad he got canned not having to deal with all those boxes anymore.

Dude shows up in a convertible BMW. Unbelievable. He obviously has money and just threw it all away. Say goodbye to your pension, buddy.

That comment from the LEO at the end of the video saying something along the lines of “if you don’t get your package at the time you expected to, call UPS” literally made me roll my eyes.
How much pension would he have really of received only being here 8 years and was 60 years old??? Nwif would I be here til 82 to receive a 30 year pension....getting into Marty Peter's and @scratch territory year wise!

I must have misunderstood, I thought it said he was a 30 year employee?

A guy at the other center in my building made it into his 70s in package before he retired. Absolutely insane.
