Drivers didn't mind some OT, safe bet they minded being out till 10pm with 250 stops.
UPS didn't really show us anything, they just went back to the way it was. Drivers were used to all the OT, never base your income on more than a guarantee.
We will see how long this keeps up once the fuel bills start mounting up, tires, maintenance, insurance costs, etc. UPS has number crunchers that know this, but have to wait for real-world results.
However, I'm fine with the less hours, I have more of a family life. I would rather lose a little weekly and hopefully have the health care taken better care of during retirement.
Drivers weren't out past 10 hours back in the daily in herds like they are now.....no way.
