Voting Starts Next Week! How will you vote and why.

Im not the Mail Man!
What needs to be understood is that it’s not UPS that I’m throwing this offer back at....it’s the union. I’m in the Nor Cal area and these “cover drivers” down south have done nothing but created a 10 year plus wait to go full time. Think about it......these guys work in the hub till UPS feels they need them, then when they’re done using you up back to the dungeon you go. Yeah......not what I’d call a wealth of opportunity.

Those are supplemental issues. If the NMA gets vote down do you think we won’t loose customers? No concerns at all?
You know that for once you've actually made a valid point? By the time they count the votes for the first round of ballots we'll be rather close to peak season (that's on the company and the union, though, it shouldn't have been dragged out this damn long in the first place just to send out the first round of ballots).

With that being said, if enough people vote no it will probably start causing shippers concern because we voted the contract down so close to peak season. They'll fear a strike because they don't realize that there will never be one.

But that's not really our problem. If the company and the union didn't want the possibility of the contract initial proposal being struck down, they shouldn't have put together this crap contract. It's just more jumping over dollars to pick up pennies.

Vote No-same old boring line.
Most of you no voters will end up voting yes, guaranteed

You were a Vote Yes before the contract even came out. So no one here cares what you think. You literally have brought nothing to the conversation. Just the same tired lines.

Wouldn't your time be better spent complaining about people's post counts again?

Yes, no sh#t. I never even knew there was such thing as a cover driver. All of our drivers are regular drivers, full pay, full protections, whether they have a bid route or not. Letting in this 22.4 garbage in is us coming down to the level of you guys that have this cover driver BS, instead of you guys coming up to having no cover driver positions. You should want to get your language better instead of making our language worse!
The irony is we got that language in 1997 when we went on strike. For 20 years nobody complained about a two tier driver. Now you want us to risk peoples jobs over it. I totally get it if you never had them but most areas do. Really nobody gave a :censored2: before why is everyone so high and might now?

TDU was so far up Ron Carey’s butt they never said anything now look at the hypocrisy. You have to ask yourself if your political sheep.

There are a lot of vote no guys that had their minds made up before they ever read the contracts with the same tired lines. You can not deny these posts educated people.

At the end of they day we all vote and live by it. I’m ready to accept a strike if voted. I bet the vote no crew will cry till the cows come home if the yes vote wins. Probably blame H or the Canadians for everything. LOL!

When do we eat?
If this shissa for a contract passes we have failed as an overall Brotherhood.
If we are ready to screw over the unborn there is no going forward in my eyes.
I see it as 1/2 of the Union fighting for the employees the other half fighting for self-preservation.
I commend the 1st half. I’m willing to strike for the better half and not just myself.

We have them on both sides but I know a bunch of Yes voters that will cry also if this goes down.

When did we start getting split into teams? Yes vs No.

Wrong.
Lots of people complained.
Lots of people who didn't at first, learned their lesson about how the company can abuse the position because of bad language.

Now you're pushing more bad language.
Lame.
Your so full of it! 20 years and not one contract proposal meeting did enough people say they wanted to get rid of them. Stop with the BS. Cover drivers bypassed the RPCD progression and were positive too because the made the company hire more RPCD jobs.
