In Georgia at this moment, Bing Crosby's "I'm Dreaming of a Dry Christmas" is playing well. What a night of storms it was but it is in the 70's and so far my furnace is feeling un-loved as my AC has yet to take a winter's nap.


Their album Songs from the Big Chair was one of the high water marks IMO for 80's music. One of my favorites from the album is:


And on their next album the homage paid to the 60's and Sgt. Pepper. The original video bares this out but it seems the copyright holders cleanse YouTube anytime it gets posted so this will have to do.

Huge Genesis fan in the Gabriel era but once Hackett left after Wind and Wuthering not so much. Land of Confusion was a good moment during what I call the Genesis Pop era but the cover of the song by Disturbed IMO took it to a whole other level. They gave it a real heavy edge with the drop tuned axes.
