In memory of Jefferson Airplane/Starship's Paul Kantner. RIP Paul and hope you see the stars tonight.

This was a concept album under the moniker Jefferson Starship that was recorded during a turbulent time as Airplane was starting to unravel. Using musicians from Airplane, Grateful Dead and Quicksilver Messenger Serive, Blows Against the Empire is putting the counterculture ideal onto a sci-fi/Robert Heinlein backdrop. Came out late 1970' and is still one of my favorites among all their body of work.
