If one parent is American then she's American. In her case doesn't matter, both are Americans and she is eligible to run as she was born on American soil. What other litmus test are you going to subject her to?
In Gabbard's case, she's eligible. American Samoans are 'nationals', they are not citizens. Being born In AS doesn't automatically make you a citizen.

Gabbard’s mother, Carol Gabbard, was born in Indiana, and her father, Hawaii state Sen. Mike Gabbard, was born in American Samoa to a father who was a US citizen, making Tulsi Gabbard a US citizen from birth under federal law.

If John McCain was ruled a natural-born citizen, she should be too.

I never heard anyone argue about her citizenship.

Tulsi Gabbard may not get the nomination but I think she's going to have a lot to say about who does get the nomination . And she might just make a good running mate given that she appears to be able to appeal to a large cross section of voters despite the efforts of the bible thumpers to discredit her.

She’s ringing my moderate southern Democrat bell.
The party that will be in the majority going forward will be the one that can most quickly push it's ageing boomer candidates off the national political stage and bring in the next generation. Tulsi Gabbard appears to be the first of that new generation. JFK mentioned something to that effect noting that he was the first president to be born in the 20th century and how the torch has been passed to a new generation.

Maybe.
I think the next generation is struggling to find an identity when it comes to politics.
