consumerism is a natural result of the advancements that come with mass industrialization , improvements in logistics etc. Our ability to manufacture , move and sell goods more efficiently. The term is sometimes thrown around as if it is a representation of greed but it also reflects a better standard of living.

that degradation is then smoothed over with corporate lobbying, fueling our corruption issue

ultimately it comes back, yet again, to a monetary system that is completely unhinged
