It's peak man. Guys need to put their big boy pants on and make that money. I know they would rather be home with their families like the rest of us but we made a decision to work here so that's what we do. Don't like it? Leave.

This was last week at 9:30am with 95 stops left. Mostly resi's with 150 miles. This has been about average all peak, 10/11 hour days. Not bad at all. Never seen it like this

This coming week i'll probably be singing a different tune.

First peak, first time driving. Almost everyone in the center made peak seem to be the most horrific thing they've ever experienced so I was nervous at first. But honestly, I'm having fun with it. I like the idea of working hard for the best money I've personally ever made. Loads are heavy but so are the checks.

I have been doing mostly 10+ hours days. I am guessing that this week I will be real close to not having enough hours to make it worth going in a Saturday. My helper can only work 3-4 hours per day and by 2p or so, he is started to slow down. He is a preloader and getting 8 or so hours a day on the preload. I have been working pretty hard this peak.

My first year in feeder as well. So far so good. Glad I made the switch. We are expecting high volume tomorrow. Drivers have been out til 11 most nights and running out of hours on Friday. Busier than last year in our center.

What little resi I have has been taken off and all I have is my retail and commercial deliveries. Averaging about 75 to 90 stops. Then 48 pick ups. I'm heading in the building by 5:00pm.

250+ stops everyday. Close to running out of hours for the last 3 weeks. Wasn't like this last year, not sure why.

A whole lot of drivers brought stops back one day last week.... but besides that everyone's been getting it done. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel at this point, will be nice to get back to normal hours.

bottomups

Bad Moon Risen'
12+ hour days Monday-Thursday followed by a light Friday as I am bumping up against 60 hours. Will not work weekends.
Averaging 140 stops on my rural route which should go down this week following about 10" of snow this past weekend.
One more week and the 9.5 list will be my friend.
