This peak was surprisingly easy. I think we rolled over the Monday-Wednesday after Black Friday, but there was something like 200k packages in the system to kick things off (we avg 140k on a regular day). A few 10PM nights here and there, but much less than I anticipated considering the record online sales made this holiday season. We are just a well oiled machine right now.

I enjoy being paid not to handle cardboard , this will be my second peak of sleeping in late or all day if I choose .

Sounds ridiculous. Our mall drivers average between 30-40 pickup stops. 60+ sounds pretty ridiculous, unless a bunch of em are just stop in, ask if they have anything, most times it's 'no' or just 1 box and keep pushing.

Most of them are not in the mall and, yes, most are pop your head in and say "hi".

i got back to the center at 9:30 last night and was suprised to see half of our workforce still out there.

Our heaviest day so far. Some of it could be a result of drivers choosing not to work Sat. its not mandatory here
