I'm not even sure if this is allowed or even something that should be posted but :censored2: it. How do you guys vote? What side are you on?

In my hub, despite being a very liberal county and state, we have a :censored2: ton of right leaning voters.

Democrat, but "might as well vote for Trump" due to the leftward shift of the Party. If Nikki Haley were running for President this year I'd have a lot to think about.

What another poll....OK... What would a typical "Trump Voter" do when somebody strange calls and asks you questions about your upcoming vote or opinions?

They hate national polls worse than CNN, of course they will "pull your leg and jest that they will vote for Biden" or at best yell into the phone something like "Go to Hell" and hang up...Are those hang ups counted anywhere..whereas a Biden voter will give their personal social security number and first born to vote their opinions.....

Never underestimate the Trump Voter: Case in Point: 2016... (Hillary by a landslide)....oops..But the Polls Said?

...

Nah
Independent. Staunchly libertarian, but I strongly disapprove of the actual libertarian party (which can't get their stuff together anyway).

I'm an independent for sure, but I lean toward democrat (as long as they're centrist). I love Bernie Sanders, his attitude, honesty, and openness but could never vote for him because most of his ideas are not realistic. I hate Donald Trump, his lies, abuse of power, and hypocrisy but can admit I like how he has handled China (who has stolen our intellectual property for years), Iran (who are just a brutal regime), and his supreme court picks (thought those were going to create a very unbalanced court, but Kavanaugh and Gorsuch love to go by the law the way it is written - side be damned). And I've gotten real sick of the Left vs Right and lack of bipartisanship. It's do what I want or get nothing; both sides are to blame for this.

dems and republicans both agree on corporate bailouts and corporate managed trade agreements.

voters agree on many issues too but are too busy with divide and conquer.

"To be a modern Republican you have to believe that thousands of climate scientists are engaged in a worldwide conspiracy to falsify data for grant money, while oil executives are victims trying to expose the truth. You have to believe that hundreds of thousands or even millions of people are engaged in coordinated voter impersonation fraud, abetted by hundreds of local elections officials in both blue and red areas, and no one has ever leaked it or been caught. You have to believe in a massively coordinated effort to take away guns not to protect children from being shot in schools and movie theaters, but to leave white people defenseless in a race war or implement a Stalinist state tyranny. You have to believe that social services are a racket to keep racial minorities voting for Democrats, rather than an attempt to mitigate the inequities of brutal capital markets in a society riddled with horrific structural racism. And so on. "

But wait! There's more:

"This is why the GOP can’t control QAnon. Once the Republican Party handed over control of its messaging to cable news and radio hosts, and once it began to depend on an alternative universe of conspiracy theories promulgated on social media to prop itself up, it was only a matter of time before these things started to take on a life of their own.

Now we are all paying the price as this toxic cult threatens to infuse American politics with even more extremism, misinformation and violence. But it was the “mainstream” Republican Party and its allies that laid all the groundwork for it."
