Big picture advice: Go with UPS, but take care of your body and understand the physical demands. This is purely financially based advice and does not consider the teaching advantages of a easier time away from work scheduling.

If you're in an area that's begging for drivers, go for it. If not, there's gotta be other opportunities in your field unless you've been kicked out. I wouldn't leave your situation.

Going through the TCD/preload process is a whole lot of being nobody for quite a while unless you get really lucky.
