My local officers have my support on this issue. I believe they are looking out for the memberships best interest. I don't think it's appropriate for the international to try to get our members to pressure the local into accepting whatever bad deal the company has offered.
I agree. This memorandum seems to be a "please stop calling us and blame your local." Strap on the chin strap boys and girls. This is a full 6 day sport. :)

Wonder why TDU hasn't wrote scathing articles about this? Maybe because Obrien would cancel speaking on their online workshop.

I haven’t seen anyone on here whose local “came to an agreement” had to give in to a bad deal to the company.

I can’t remember did the ibt say to vote yes or no 🤔. Vote yes, oh dang this language sucks is the locals fault.

You mean when they don’t get anything they want. Out of the strike issues how many things did we get?
That overwhelming acceptance vote sure did point out all the things we didn't get...

Oh yeah, Im sure you'd have everything you got today if you didn't have a union.... you'd have all the protections and rights you have now. No way you'd be like FedEx with a 10 step pay progression. Which is entirely up to FedEx if you move to the next step. I'm sure you'd have amazing medical benefits and all the vacation days you get. Oh and for sure you'd be able to file a grievance if you were to be let go for no apparent reason.

Geez I don't know why anyone pays union dues. We should throw a tantrum and stop paying dues because that will solve the problem...
