Out of the strike issues how many did we get. You skipped answering. That overwhelming acceptance vote sure did point out all the things we didn't get...
Oh yeah, Im sure you'd have everything you got today if you didn't have a union.... you'd have all the protections and rights you have now. No way you'd be like FedEx with a 10 step pay progression. Which is entirely up to FedEx if you move to the next step. I'm sure you'd have amazing medical benefits and all the vacation days you get. Oh and for sure you'd be able to file a grievance if you were to be let go for no apparent reason.
Geez I don't know why anyone pays union dues. We should throw a tantrum and stop paying dues because that will solve the problem...
Well take your ball and go home kid.Out of the strike issues how many did we get. You skipped answering.
“Without a union you wouldn’t have a 40hr 5 day workweek scab!”
Rings hollow
Be careful what you wish for.Well take your ball and go home kid.
Well this is where we're at and an agreement will need to be reached. The ibt isn't changing their stance, read the memorandum. The easy thing for the local to do would be accept the deal on the table ASAP so the members will stop being pissed at them short term. They don't feel like it's a good deal for us long term so they aren't taking it even tho the ibt wants them to.I haven’t seen anyone on here whose local “came to an agreement” had to give in to a bad deal to the company.
I wonder what agreement they’re still trying to hammer out?I haven’t seen anyone on here whose local “came to an agreement” had to give in to a bad deal to the company.
I’m still not certain what deal you’re talking about and what your local thinks that they could get better and what leverage they have at this point? Seems like you’re just getting bent over.Well this is where we're at and an agreement will need to be reached. The ibt isn't changing their stance, read the memorandum. I think it is the ibt. Why is the local negotiating the contract now? Whatever deal needs to be reached should have been in the contract not a back room at each localWell this is where we're at and an agreement will need to be reached. Which strike issue did we not get? I would say at least the top five that were given at our local meetings before the contract talks started.Out of the strike issues how many did we get. You skipped answering.

Well, some locals have riders and separate agreements…I think it is the ibt. Why is the local negotiating the contract now? Whatever deal needs to be reached should have been in the contract not a back room at each local
I don't think I can say I haven't heard it first hand and I'm not sure I have all the details. You make a good point about not having leverage. Well, I’m not questioning your support for your local because I’m not there. but I’m still trying to figure out what it is they’re doing and why it’s taking so long?I don't think I can say I haven't heard it first hand and I'm not sure I have all the details. I think they were hoping the co-chairs would get it figured out. Doesn't seem like there is any chance of that happening at this point. I don't know what the plan is now. There isn't a lot of transparency here even in normal times.Well, I’m not questioning your support for your local because I’m not there. but I’m still trying to figure out what it is they’re doing and why it’s taking so long?
Currently it's being spent to help house, feed, and cloth a Venezuelan family of 5 in @542thruNthru back yardWhere’s my $20,000 hero pay biden promised?

Deal. They already work June-January here anyway that like 5 months. Is this what you heard? Temps being allowed to work on Saturday year long and earning progression time but expiring in one full year.
Historic contract. Lol.Like I have said before. It comes down to weak leadership NOT forcing UPS to adhere to a black and white time table to fix a major contract change. And UPS knew they could more than likely drag it out like they did into peak. You guys got played by both UPS and your leadership. Now I would make damn sure I went to meeting and found out exactly who allowed the extensions, who was on board with them etc, and I would make sure next election they are sent packing.
