Tell us again who doesn't have a life?

You, about 6.13 PPD (posts per day).

Dave, almost 25 PPD.

I'm not even going to try to figure out Gumby's. Probably astronomical since posting is all he does.

(I caved and did it anyhow. Over 171 PPD. Damn, somebody needs to get out more.)

I figured out I only make .6 of a post per day since I joined BC. I have a long way to go to move up in the rankings.

...I'm starting to get fed up with the constant stupid decisions made in day-to-day operations. ...It used to fun, it's not anymore.
That's where I am today myself. This is peak #30 for me. Now forced to work 6 days/70 hours. As a result, my work pace is now at about 50%. Bottom line, I'm done. :censored2: this job and UPS!! This peak will be my last. Abney can go to hell!!

Why wait? There'd be more impact if you retired during Peak. Stop helping Abney out!

a little off subject, but I don't see people driving for 30 years in the future

too much pressure with all the service enhancements, ever increasing workload, miserable work environment,
long hours...

That's why Abney can suck it!! While he may have generated record profits, he has :censored2:ed up this job. Because of him, I no longer care about service, the customers, this job, UPS, the packages, or anything else related to UPS in general. :censored2: it all!!
If you're not a share holder, then Abney cares less for you than the paper hanging from the roll in his bathroom!!

His smug ass doesn't use toilet paper. He makes some district manager use a silk cloth to wipe his ass.

Been around the block a few times
When....IF....the job ever becomes about the people of UPS again then we might have some hope. Right now we are treated as meat automatons and we are tired. More and more and more is asked of us. There is a threshold. And it is damned near.

And what did UPS say about that? Not that we wish we didn't have to work people so long or we could not get enough qualified people or there is just WAY more volume than expected. Nope, none of these statement but this award winning statement.

"UPS appreciates exceptional effort of all employees during our peak holiday shipping season, when delivery volumes near double the normal level," UPS said in a statement Monday morning. "Our employees’ scheduled work week is in compliance with Department of Transportation requirements. Union-represented employees are paid time and one-half for work above 40 hours per week and they receive the industry’s most attractive compensation and benefits program.”
