Am I in?

My eagerness to work for UPS is through the roof. I was told to email the HR person who interviewed me if I had any questions. I tried calling but could never talk to her. I don't really want to bother her on the other hand in an email.

Can we answer any of those questions or are they specific to your center?

I'm pretty sure it's up to HR at my location. I was just wondering if anyone could leave feedback on what my current status is. On my application it says the status is active, and my position changed from initially driver helper to "seasonal helper" after my 1 on 1 interview, plus the additional documents section was added after the interview that had W-4 and drug and alcohol policy in it along with others. I also noticed the first section of my application is now locked.

Okay man. You've been a great help. I really hope my dream will come true. I love to drive, and I love helping customers even if it is a difficult job. I don't mind hard work even if that means working with preloading or unloading after season. Been doing it my entire life.

Good luck!

But also...be careful what you wish for. In my time here, I've only seen one part-timer who came to work here so he could eventually drive make it. And he ended up quitting before making his 30 days after he started vomitting blood due to the stress + heat. If you were talking to him, he'd say "difficult" doesn't even begin to describe the job. For some people, driving is the perfect fit. For others, it just isn't for them. No way to know until you try.

These kiddos are so cute and full of rainbows and unicorns until they finally realize that a corporation is not their friend

Wouldn't matter if they were specific to his center I'm sure you would have an answer for this eager beaver... Maybe take him under your wing....can maybe be your replacement on here when you finally retire.....

A company the size of UPS Dave should have adequate computers to properly calculate our wages and hours there are just too many mistakes that go on why are you trying to cover for them ???

Payroll uses the data provided to them by the local centers to calculate our wages and cut our checks.
