They tried to tell us we didn't bid a route but a position in the loop. They would use that as a reason for moving work around but our contract said you could follow the majority of what is supposed to be your route.

I'm covered. Our language says if you started before 7/31/1990 you are a M-friend driver unless you choose otherwise.

Ours say if hired before August 1, 2002 you can't be forced to work anything except Monday - Friday

It's in the Upstate NY supplement under Article 64 (Wages). It basically states that anyone hired after 8/1/87 can be assigned to work a 5 day out of 7 work schedule, not necessarily M-friend.

The workweek for a full-time employees other than mileage feeder drivers shall consist of 5 consecutive days of 8 hours each exclusive of the meal period.

(a) The workweek shall consist of ANY five consecutive days of 8 hours or ANY four days of 10 hours each, exclusive of meal period.
