When you read this and you are an UPS'er you are already winner, but are you still in the running towards becoming the next UPS hero?

UPS'ers like you can make a huge difference and even alone you can have impact on our day2day operation. When you make a
positive difference you will get noticed!

If 400k employees would enter 1 lead a year we will create job security 4 at least 5 years.

How can you help me built the future next Monday?
Most of our sales personnel are very unmotivated and don't follow up unless it's a monster account.
 
In a certain way you live up to your own perceived promise which to a certain degree position itself to have the same outcome as my statement. Instead of bashing a thread of importance why not spend time with me thinking about out of the box and innovative ways tot become an even Better ups than Today?
What about the work he puts in already everyday.

Become a cover Driver and cover all routes!
You can spend all day getting your own sales leads!
Of course, that would cut down on your time here pestering us to do it for you!

Sad...we used to have sales reps visit our center weekly to answer any questions that drivers would have and handle any issues any of our customers have. Now all we have is some generic guy posting on an unofficial company website to rally the troops. Really....is this what we've resorted to? I feel embarrassed...

This sales lead thing must be a flavor of the month. This morning at the PCM they talked about sales leads for a good 5 minutes.

Its both funny and sad that this thread is more about my stats and not about your ideas on improvement. How easy it is to bash me about orion like I invented it. Orion is creating enterprise advantage. Locally you may expierience this as another discomfort, which to a certain level I understand. I challange you to take the opportunity to share thoughts about growth instead of hate that is based on what you think, not what you know. There is already to much sadness in this World. Make a difference.

BS. It's making us unpredictable and DILUTING our " brand".

You are lost (and can not spell).

"Locally" is all each driver has. And the service level sucks as bad as our load quality.

You are truly out of touch with the collateral damage that Orion leaves in it's wake.
Childish oblivion is a better topic.

I'm a loser this week and I am pretty certain I will be one next week. Please don't insult my intelligence by assuming I will be a winner next week. As for next Monday, I will most likely call in much like I did today, so I doubt I will be of any assistance doing your job.

We used to get a time allowance for talking to new customers.......eliminated.

We used to get a cash card for sales leads......eliminated. Now a bogus gift catalog.

We used to have BD PCM's........now it's safety 24/7.

You tell me what's important now.
"Driver Marketing" in other work.

Sales leads are a waste of time when the reps won't even follow up on them. I got tired of seeing "Called customer and left message" on UPSers.com years ago. The funny thing is that when ever I asked those customers about that they ALWAYS said they were never contacted and there was NEVER a message left.

Another tactic was to enter "Contacted customer. Customer stated that UPS was already there sole shipper". Again..... another fabrication.

You are wasting your time. And ours.
Or better yet getting screwed on our Amex card.... Going from card cash to stupid prizes from a catalogues... Another watering down of things from mgt...stop treating us like packmules and micromanaging then I might turn in a lead. Stop asking me why I was at a stop for an extra 2 minutes...asking about your sales lead ....these guys are off the deep end there's no dealing civil with them

I think we all hear what you are saying and want this company to succeed for sure but just like your comment on " I still secretly ojs drivers when I'm out with them" bs line...this management here has burned all bridges with most of us years ago and they treat many of us like garbage and just don't know how to stfu sometimes and let us do the job and go home... Has to ALWAYS harp on something...and I'm not trying to be negative.. It's absolutely overkill and you wonder along with mgt why we are like this???please......

As a partner, I'm not going to direct my guys on Monday to look for sales leads. We started talking on Wednesday of last week about cuts on preload, on road, and local sort. You tell the bean counters to stop putting a hatchet to my staffing and maybe we can devote more time to finding sales leads.
