They look at how long it takes from the time the accident happened until you actually call it in. You messed up by taking so long! An accident is just that, an accident. You wont get fired if you follow the proper procedure and just report it immediately! I've seen drivers total UPS vehicles and are back at the work the very next day! Backing into a pole is not a big deal
