If you go to West Point, you 'get a scholarship'. Everyone. It doesn't mean you are 'special'.

This just shows how naive Carson is.

Hitch your horses to him, and buy stock in ConAgra. There will be a run on popcorn.

However, The Detroit News reports that the encounter Carson was referring to, and that is described in his best-selling 1990 autobiography "Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story," does not match historical records.

Carson's book says he met with the U.S. Army's chief of staff, Gen. William Westmoreland, on Memorial Day 1969, after marching as a top ROTC cadet for Detroit's former Southwestern High School. But Westmoreland's schedule says he was in Washington that day.

Next we'll find out that the pyramids weren't actually grain storage silos...

Ben Carson opines that the pyramids were built by Israelites and used for grain storage. Put aside the grain storage for now, (it doesn't have any basis in fact) but could the Israelites have built the pyramids? The best dating by Egyptologists has the first pyramids built near Memphis around 2600 BCE and the Giza pyramids built around 2500 BCE. If we then pick up our bibles and use the genealogy record contained within we would soon discover this period above corresponds to the time of Noah and the great flood as opposed to during the time of Joseph (1800 BCE) and his place in Egyptian history according to the bible. This also raises the question of how all this manpower to build the pyramids could exist during a 100 year period in which a global flood occurred leaving only 6 humans alive in its aftermath?

I still back up Herman Cain. The media took a single grain of truth, that he was accused of sexual harrassmenr, and spun a web of lies based on it. That was a hit job from beginning to end, no doubt about it. I doubt this will sink Carson, but we will see.

YA, just like bengazi, sucks doesnt it?

You have no "taste" for political punditry. You rather, pick "LOSERS". Add CARSON to your list.

I support your cause.

So, TOS, if you have a problem with Carson's "lie", what do you think about this documented lie?
