Day One....
Lol, hey I work in the O&G industry, for 16 years now, and I remember Keystone pipeline from when Obama was Potus, the O&G industry experienced a legit boom under Obama. and denying Keystone didn't stop that boom. we actually bring in Canadian crude, it is poorer quality Crude at least the crude we get, but the Keystone pipeline was not going to employ that many workers permanently, had barely gotten off the ground even after 4 years of trump, they have built 1.2 miles, all the job projections were in the future, never really materialized, and most of the jobs would have been very temporary.

Actually the current layoff is 1000 jobs .With the pipeline being built there was a potential for exponentially more. The ramifications are Biden's presidency was to sure up our relations with foreign countries so now Canada is pissed off at us his second day in office , losing our energy independence or depending on countries in not so favorable locations for our oil. Lastly it's effect at the gas pump. Wait until he attacks fracking !

Canada is pissed off? Lol come on. There are no ramifications that's just make believe. How do we lose energy independence by not bringing in Crude oil from Canada? Oh and we did we gain energy independence? Who was president? Who was VP? No it won't impact the gas pump because this project wasn't supply crude oil to the market.

The 1000 job loses are claimed by the company without proof. Again after the endorsement of the trump administration, they have managed to build 1.2 miles of that pipeline. Didn't trump approve that in 2017? The 8000 jobs lost are a projection from the company and like 99% of those jobs were temporary if they ever materialized. Keystone just isn't that important and won't impact much if anything.

How many refinery workers are going to lose their jobs under Biden?
Biden was just VP in January 2017. Again he was VP for 8 years. I worked in the industry during this time period. There was a boom. Under trump all salaried employees where I work took a paycut, they cut our pensions, etc. Like it can't get any worse.

You mfers really are going to pretend that we can't go back and look at how the O&G industry did when Biden was VP for 8 years? Like Biden is some unknown person whose going to destroy the industry when the exact opposite happened while he was VP like 4 years ago?

This is what I mean about republican voters, they are dedicated to fantasyland bs.

No it won't. Objective reality is telling us right now. Keystone is not that important. Again man its taken them 4 years to build 1.2 miles of pipeline. Canada isn't pissed. There will be no ramifications. We won't lose energy independence by not bringing in Canadian Crude oil. None of what you posted is up in the air. It is all just stuff you are pretending is up in the air. But it's not, none of it.
