I'm not a UPS'er. Signed up here when I was going through application process last year believing I was going to be laid off from GE Aviation. We are fighting the federal contractor mandate here. Walking out during lunch breaks with flags and demonstrating in front of company property. 80-90% of hourly are participating. This is happening at every GE shop in the country. Fight this if you believe it's wrong. Production/service has screeched to a halt since last week. Management here is panicking. They have said they did not expect nearly the level of pushback they are receiving. Hold the line and do not sacrifice your principles for a paycheck.

Is this you guys or are you one of the people who walked out in Greenville, SC. Either way, more power to you guys! A very impressive showing. Strength comes in numbers.

This is the tightest labor market ive ever seen in my life. I got a solid job offer over the phone within 45 minutes of searching.

Another driver in my center signed up to deliver for uber eats, said it took less than an hour as well. I've been looking at that too, picking your own hours sounds great actually. And UPS basically paid for me to get better area knowledge than 99% of uber eats drivers. I have all the gate codes for the whole county in my phone already too

The government now gives me like 20k just for having the amount of kids I do. And I’ve definitely got more coming. I would just get a part time job somewhere with decent benefits and then do something else. I used to bartend before becoming a driver and I made a comfortable 60k a year doing that on four shifts a week.
