I work at UPS just like you old man.
The difference is you could have retired a decade ago. You keep working because you have nothing else to live for and your family probably hates you.

You will die on the job, huffing diesel fumes or washing someone's truck.

I'm not a UPS'er. Signed up here when I was going through application process last year believing I was going to be laid off from GE Aviation. We are fighting the federal contractor mandate here. Walking out during lunch breaks with flags and demonstrating in front of company property. 80-90% of hourly are participating. This is happening at every GE shop in the country. Fight this if you believe it's wrong. Production/service has screeched to a halt since last week. Management here is panicking. They have said they did not expect nearly the level of pushback they are receiving. Hold the line and do not sacrifice your principles for a paycheck.
